Joe, I can say with conviction that both Chester and Chris would feel disrespected by you silencing a voice of integrity. Both men spoke out about the same treachery and perversion at the hands of many politicians, had many names to name, and then extemporaneoisly died in the same way within three months of one another. Both their bodies bore immense evidence of having been broken in places shortly before being discovered dead. The most disrespectful thing a person could is silence those who speak the truth.

What an idiot. Hearing people hawk this bullshit conspiracy pisses me off as they’re two of my favorite singers and to push this made up story is to make their deaths count for nothing. They both had depression and they both struggled with addiction. Having dealt with both for 30 years, it’s easy to see why they speak to me. They committed suicide as a direct result of these diseases. And what makes it especially important is that it shows how depression knows no bounds, it crosses all financial situations, circumstances, etc. If you have CHRONIC depression (situational depression is different and a total cinch in comparison), all the money in the world won’t make you happy. All the fans in the world. A beautiful family. A great life…from the outside. But you still feel the way you always did. You feel guilt for being depressed when there’s no external reason to be depressed. But that’s what makes chronic depression different from situational. Also, chronic depression is just that - it never completely goes away. It can go into remission but you can’t cure it. And after a lifetime of struggling with addiction and constant depression, sometimes you just can’t take it anymore. And fuck people who say it’s the easy way out. It’s a really difficult decision and not something most people can do. But that’s how these diseases distort perspective, decision making and everything in between.
